What questions are you afraid of?

Common reactions to a hard question are to either brush it aside or avoid it altogether. If the questions are intimate, they tend to be intimidating. For me, the more I try to reach out to others the more I realize how hard it is to articulate my emotions. This struggle of mine has made me realize that there’s a thin line between intimidation and intimacy, and it’s a feeling that I get confused with one another.

These videos capture conversations with three acquaintances that have volunteered to become vulnerable with me on camera. The participants answer questions, that to others, can be hard and frightening but with being able to talk about it – it gets easier.
